Journey through two days of extraordinary landscapes. Vast canyons, inspiring deserts, natural archways and enchanting hoodoos are just a start. The rail route is filled with highlights best seen by train, including Ruby Canyon, Mount Logan and crossing the Continental Divide. And it showcases scenic views that are unique to the American Southwest. Between Denver and Glenwood Springs, you will travel alongside the Colorado River and through a series of canyons with steep, rugged ruck walls. Then continue along the route between Glenwood Springs and Moab which offers up a variety of scenery including mountain vistas, desert cliffs and magnificent rock formations. This is a rail journey you do not want to miss.

Day 1: Denver
Arrive in Denver for an overnight stay

Day 2: Denver to Glenwood Springs
Depart from Denver, where you’ll set out past the towering Rockies on your journey to Glenwood Springs. Get comfortable and enjoy breakfast and views of the Gross Reservoir dam before crossing the Continental Divide. Then, dine on a three-course regionally inspired lunch and tour along the Colorado River before arriving in Glenwood Springs. Disembark and sleep the night away in a cozy hotel room.

Day 3: Glenwood Springs to Moab
Leave beautiful Glenwood Springs rested and relaxed as you continue heading south west for another day of extraordinary views, venturing towards the colorful archways and amazing rock formations. Enjoy a two-course hot breakfast as you make your way through the magnificent Parachute Creek. Then, take in the stunning red rock formations lining the cliffs in Ruby Canyon. Then arrive and overnight in stunning Moab with plenty of time to explore the scarlet city and its red sandstone backdrop.

Day 4: Moab
Your journey into Moab comes to an end.
