Day 1 - Welcome to Porto
On arrival at the airport, you’ll be warmly greeted and chauffeured to your choice of first class or deluxe hotel in the heart of town. Nestled on the banks of the Douro River, Porto exudes charm at every turn. Take the rest of this day to relax, enjoy and explore at your own pace.
Day 2 - Tailor Your Sightseeing in Porto
Renowned for its stunning riverside views, architectural wealth, vibrant culture, and historic wine cellars, Porto #WHS# is a delight to explore. Personalize your sightseeing today with your choice of included, privately-guided sightseeing. Meals B Half-Day Tour of Porto with Driver + Guide: Traveling in comfort with your own chauffeured vehicle, you’ll discover some of Porto’s most significant highlights. Begin along Avenida dos Aliados, a grand boulevard lined with impressive Neoclassical landmarks. Then visit the São Bento Train Station, an early 20th-century railway terminal embellished with 20,000 blue and white tiles, each one hand-painted with scenes depicting important moments in Portuguese history. Admire the towering silhouette of Torre dos Clérigos, the symbol of Porto, and enjoy a tasting of three distinctive Port wines at a traditional Port wine cellar before returning comfortably to your hotel. Tour Duration: 4 Hours Half-Day Aveiro City Tour: Aveiro, often called the “Venice of Portugal,” is a city where canals, Art Nouveau architecture, and maritime traditions blend into a truly unique cultural experience. Your discovery begins with a relaxing boat cruise along Aveiro’s scenic canals aboard a traditional moliceiro boat. Day 4 - Onward to Lisbon
Our private car and driver will take you to the Porto rail station to board the high-speed train to Lisbon. On arrival, you’ll be warmly greeted and chauffeured to your choice of first class or deluxe hotel. The balance of this day is at leisure to relax, shop, dine and explore as you wish. Meals B
Day 5 - Choose Your Sightseeing in Lisbon
Begin with a panoramic tour of several iconic sites including Edward VII Park, Liberty Avenue, and Rossio Square. Then enjoy a short guided stroll in the medieval Alfama district with its narrow streets and historic atmosphere, and see the 12th-century Cathedral from outside. Leaving central Lisbon behind, you’ll explore the Belém district, home to the 16th-century Belém Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries, built to commemorate the voyages of Henry the Navigator. You will also pass by the Jerónimos Monastery, admiring its lavish Manueline Gothic architecture from the outside. Tour Duration: 4 Hours. Monument entrances are not included
Day 6 - Enjoy a Free Day in Lisbon
From the historic districts of Alfama and Bairro Alto to the inviting waterfront, Lisbon is one of Europe’s most beguiling cities—and our hotels are ideally situated for you to explore on your own. Meals B
