Day 1 - Arrive in Barcelona

Welcome to Barcelona! Check in at your hotel for a three-night stay and before heading out into the city to explore. Relax in the Parc Guell (Gaudi's garden city), or visit the house that Gaudi built for himself, the Casa-Museu Gaudi. Down at the harbor, you can walk along the seafront to one of Barcelona's sandy beaches for a relaxing afternoon. (Overnight in Barcelona)

Day 2 - Barcelona

This morning embark on a tour of Gaudi’s masterpieces; Sagrada Familia and Casa Batlló. Learn the details and secrets of these extraordinary buildings. In the afternoon spend some time wandering down the city's most famous shopping street, Las Ramblas, and soak up the bustling atmosphere among the shops and street artists of this tree-lined boulevard. This evening explore the Gothic Quarter for some delicious Catalan cuisine. (Overnight in Barcelona)

Day 3 - Barcelona

Spend another day exploring the sights of the city. Maybe see the striking sculptures created by Picasso in the latter years of his life and a large collection of his artworks including the First Communion at the Picasso Museum. (Overnight in Barcelona)

Day 4 - Barcelona to Seville

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel then depart Barcelona on the high-speed AVE train to Seville. On arrival in Seville, check in at your hotel for a two-night stay. Seville is a stunning city with grand, Moorish influenced architecture and a vibrant Andalusian culture. Spend an evening getting your bearings and perhaps enjoy some local tapas at a pavement bar. Day 5 - Seville

After breakfast, get the most out of this amazing city on a small group tour. Visit famous sights such as the huge Gothic Cathedral and Giralda and the impressive Plaza de España, built for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929. Then head to the beautiful Real Alcázar and learn the vast history of this Moorish palace with its myriad of rooms, courtyards and formal gardens which offer peaceful shelter from the summer sun. Day 6 - Seville to Madrid

Enjoy breakfast in the hotel and then take the AVE service to Madrid. On arrival, check in at your hotel for a three-night stay. Settle into your hotel and then head out into the Spanish capital to begin your exploration. Perhaps start in the famous Plaza Mayor where you can sit for café con churros and soak up the scenery. Day 7 - Madrid

Spend today exploring this vibrant capital city. Embark on a culinary discovery this evening with a small group tour led by an expert local guide, who will lead you to some of the city's finest eateries for 3 hours of delicious tapas and local wines (Overnight in Madrid)

Day 8 - Madrid

If you like art galleries, then you are in the right place! Madrid's so called 'Golden Triangle of Art' includes three fabulous galleries, the Museo Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (home to Picasso's Guernica), the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum and most famous of all, the Prado which offers one of the finest collections in the world. Day 9 - Depart Madrid
