Day 1: Arrive in Calgary and spend time exploring this cosmopolitan city on your own. That could be going to the top of the Calgary Tower, exploring Prince's Island Park or much more. Overnight in Calgary.

Day 2: Depart Calgary this morning for a full-day transfer concluding in Lake Louise. Journey to Lake Louise, where you will enjoy a spectacular boat cruise on Lake Minnewanka. Continue on to a sightseeing tour including Bow Falls, Surprise Corner and the Hoodoos. Admission to the Banff Gondola included. Your tour ends on arrival in Lake Louise late this afternoon. Overnight in Lake Louise.

Day 3: Enjoy the day with free time to relax or book your own activities at your leisure. With its unique history and picturesque scenery, Lake Louise will not disappoint. Learn about the local wildlife, paddle the lake by canoe, or simply relax amongst the beauty. Overnight in Lake Louise.

Day 4: Continue your journey from Lake Louise to Jasper on a sightseeing tour of Banff and Jasper National Parks via the Icefields Parkway. Bow Lake, the Columbia Icefield, Glacier Skywalk, and Athabasca Falls are among some of the day's highlights. The Columbia Icefield is one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle and one of the most accessible icefields in North America. Here you will ride on an Ice Explorer to the middle of the Athabasca Glacier to learn about its geological features. Lunch is provided at the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre. You will arrive in Jasper late afternoon. Overnight in Jasper. L.


Day 5: This morning you are free to explore Jasper on your own. In the afternoon, experience the awe-inspiring beauty of Jasper National Park on a half-day sightseeing tour, where you'll explore stunning landscapes, look for wildlife, and visit iconic landmarks. Overnight in Jasper.


Day 6: Departing early in the morning, travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer from Jasper in the Canadian Rockies to Kamloops, in the heart of the British Columbia Interior. As you journey west and south, you will be surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the Continental Divide and by the river valleys of the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains. Today's highlights include the climb over the Yellowhead Pass, Pyramid Falls, Mount Robson, at 3,954 metres (12,972 feet), the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, and the journey along the North Thompson River as you approach Kamloops in the evening. Overnight in Kamloops. B, L.


Day 7: Early in the morning, your journey continues eastward to the mighty Canadian Rockies and back to the province of Alberta. Once again, you will experience ever-changing scenery as you travel across ranchlands, along rocky lakeshores, over high mountain passes and through the remarkable tunnels that form part of the rich rail history of the Canadian Rockies. Today's highlights include Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven, the climb over Rogers Pass, Kicking Horse Canyon, the Spiral Tunnels and, of course, the iconic glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies. Your rail journey ends this evening in the resort town of Banff. B, L.


Day 8: Enjoy the day with free time to relax or book your own activities at your leisure. Banff has activities for all, from relaxing in the Banff hot springs, and exploring the bustling town, to outdoor wildlife adventures. Overnight in Banff.


Day 9: In the afternoon, you will have a direct transfer from Banff to Calgary. The approximate duration is two hours. Overnight in Calgary.


Day 10: Your journey ends upon check out from your Calgary hotel.
